Anne stars in Grosse Misconduct!
On May 14, 2018, Not So Artful Productions released GROSSE MISCONDUCT, a six-part digital series that depicts an eccentric Human Resources team as they navigate personal and professional struggles under the leadership of their high-maintenance director, Mitch Grosse.
GROSSE MISCONDUCT is a workplace comedy that veers from the dramatic to the absurd, and features two leading LGBTQ characters. Anne, along with creator and fellow co-writer/executive producer Colby Ryan, have been inspired by the new network series “Champions” and “Instinct”, the recent film “Love, Simon”, and the eagerly anticipated drama "Pose". They seek to spotlight more LGBTQ characters in leading roles, featuring narratives that show how alike we all are, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. To that end, GROSSE MISCONDUCT does not feature a coming-out story or anyone struggling with gender identity. These characters are living, loving, working, arguing and celebrating, and their stories can now be more accessible than ever – not just in film and television, but for a new generation of smartphone viewers with short attention spans!

Reviews...
During the 2015 Christmas season, Anne portrayed the role of Mother in a musical based on the holiday film favorite, A Christmas Story. "Anne Schroeder, as the Mother, is perfect in her role as a 1940’s ‘stay at home mom’, whose primary ambition is the welfare of her family. Her rendition of “What a Mother Does” was moving and touching and made me long for those days when mom could fix anything." (Dee Jae Cox, Coachella Valley Weekly)
Candlelight Pavillion's cast of Crazy for You won StageSceneLA's Best Dance Ensemble award for the 2013-2014 season. The production featured original Susan Stroman choreography that was recreated by choreographer Dustin Ceithamer. Anne portrayed the role of Patsy, one of the "Leggy, glamours showgirls," that were, "dazzling in one precision tap number after another, in addition to acting and singing their roles like pros." (Steven Stanley, StageSceneLA)
Anne portrayed the role of Fiona in Shrek: The Musical at Palm Canyon Theatre December, 2013, in Palm Springs. A review said that Anne's "comic timing and strong voice are reminiscent of a young Carol Burnett, in “Once Upon a Mattress,” (Bonnie Gilgallon, CVIndependent.com).
